Volunteer Opportunities
Tutor an Adult
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Guadalupe’s Adult Education program. Over 160 community members donate their time every year to provide instruction to our adult students. Volunteers do not need to have teaching experience or know a second language. Please contact Kate Brainerd for more information at (801) 531-6100 x102 or kate.brainerd@guadschool.org. Tutor a Child It takes a village to educate a child. Guadalupe School's volunteers are critical to our success! Volunteers work one on one with students or in small groups. We are in need of tutors during the school hours, afterschool, and in the summer. If you would like more information about the reading tutors for the children's programs, please contact: Margaret Moore at 801.531.6100, or margaret.moore@guadschool.org If you would like information about volunteering during the school day, contact Maricella Garcia at (801) 531-6100 x 118 or maricella.garcia@guadschool.org. For more information about volunteering for the After School or Summer School program, contact Trisha Perry at (801) 531-6100 x 309 or trisha.perry@guadschool.org.
