Who's ready for turkey day?? Well, Thanksgiving is about more than just a big turkey dinner with your family and friends, it's about expressing gratitude and finding the joy in life. So, this season, we asked our staff, what are you thankful for? From our work here at Guadalupe School, to our families and activities outside the classroom or the office, it's clear, we have so much to be thankful for this year.
I am thankful to have a job that I enjoy and feel useful at. I am thankful for opportunities to learn from and collaborate with my colleagues. Most of all, I am thankful for my hard-working, wonderful students. - Rebecca Amin, Adult Education Instructor I am thankful for all the people who have made my transition here to Guadalupe School so much easier - especially my third grade colleagues! I'm also thankful for my third graders, who keep me on my toes and help me see the little things to be thankful for every day! - Susan McGovern, 3rd Grade Teacher I'm thankful for my wonderful co-workers. They make my workday enjoyable! My co-workers are: welcoming, friendly, caring, smart, accepting, generous, funny, encouraging, adventurous. - Princess Gutierrez, Development Officer This year, I am thankful for the love of my family and friends. Having this meaningful job at Guadalupe School is a great bonus to be thankful for! I am thankful that I enjoy my colleagues at work and the adults and children I serve. I am thankful that I derive a real sense of purpose from my work. - Elsa Borell, Early Learning Center Director
