Guadalupe School Stands with the Immigrants and Refugees of our Community

Guadalupe School was founded over 50 years ago and continues to operate today in the belief that education has the power to transform lives.

We support Salt Lake City’s refugees and immigrants.  America’s current citizenry is largely comprised of persons whose forebears settled in this country as immigrants. America is at its roots a nation of people who came here from elsewhere.

Salt Lake City is a better place to live because of the presence among us of people from other nations. Hundreds of former and current Guadalupe students contribute in meaningful ways to our community through their industry, self-reliance, and love of family.

Guadalupe School rejects the idea of immigration limitation based on country of national origin.

We stand proudly by our students, past and present…be they US citizen, aspiring citizen, immigrant or refugee.  These persons’ lives have equal value to ours.  Their capacity to contribute to our community and nation is a rich resource. Their aspirations are ours.

Apoyamos orgullosamente a nuestros alumnos, actuales y anteriores . .
