![]() By Cassie Bingham, Communications Specialist Guadalupe School enjoyed some extra fun Halloween activities over the last week! Carrying on school traditions, families got involved in some pretty spooky ways at both the Trunk or Treat and the school costume parade! Thursday evening, parents showed up with festive car trunks, ready to distribute candy and show off their awesome decoration skills! Some car trunks dangled with cobwebs and hanging ghosts, while others featured traditional Day of the Dead decor. One family even handed out treats from the back of a hearse! Parents went all out with some pretty awesome costumes; however, the kids took the cake on cool Halloween looks. There were Wonderwomen, Spidermen, princesses, and ninja turtles galore! This year Trunk or Treat even featured some extra surprises thanks to some wonderful American Express employees. Generously, they donated a face painting and color hair spraying station, extra candy buckets, and treat bags that they came to personally hand out! The face paint and hairspray was a hit, and everyone loved the goodie bags provided. Thank you American Express! The fun didn't stop last week though. On Halloween day, kids showed up to school in costume, ready to amaze parents and staff during the school parade. All of the classes had a chance to line up and file through the cafeteria, where parents sat waiting to take pictures and applaud. One of the crowd favorites was a kindergartner named Kevin who went through the line in a blow up dinosaur suit! Needless to say, everyone involved had a lot of fun. We are so grateful for amazing families who make great activities possible! Happy Halloween Guadalupe School! Check out some of the pictures below.
